I’m Jill Savage—an Interior Decorator and certified E-Designer with a genuine love for art, furniture, sourcing (a.k.a. shopping!), and all things design. My style leans transitional, blending timeless elements with current trends, and layering in unique artwork and accessories to create spaces that feel both curated and lived-in.
I’ve been drawn to interior design for as long as I can remember—rearranging furniture was practically a hobby growing up. I was always refreshing my bedroom… I even asked Santa for furniture! Over the years, I’ve helped family and friends with decorating and renovations, which eventually led me into the design industry. I gained hands-on experience working at a to-the-trade custom upholstery company and later as a Design Assistant. Those roles showed me just how overwhelming it can be to pull together a cohesive design plan and source the right pieces—but it’s a challenge I truly enjoy. Today, I’ve built a business centered on helping clients create thoughtful, beautiful spaces that feel like the best version of home.

Your home should feel personal—not like a copy-and-paste design. One of my favorite parts of the process is getting to know about how you live and what matters most to you. From there, I translate your likes, needs, and lifestyle into a cohesive, thoughtfully designed space—your ideal habitat.

E-Design, or virtual design, is an online approach to interior design. It provides a digital room plan complete with inspiration, expert sourcing, and shoppable product links—all at a fraction of the cost of full-service design. It’s a great fit for those with a DIY mindset who want professional guidance with space planning and sourcing.

We’ll schedule a Design Consult Zoom call to review your goals, expectations, and timeline. We'll discuss your likes, dislikes, style preferences and budget. You'll provide photos and measurements of your space, along with any inspo photos you may have —then I’ll get to work!
You’ll receive a personalized design plan that will allow you to create a professionally designed space at your own pace.

Habitat Edit is a personalized, in-person design experience that combines professional design advice with a curated shopping experience to help you make confident decisions for your home. We’ll walk through your space, talk through your design dilemmas, and shop for pieces that complement your style, needs, and budget. Whether you're refreshing a room or looking for help finding the right pieces, I'll help bring your vision to life.

IN-HOME CONSULTATION — A walkthrough of your space to discuss your goals, design challenges, and priorities.

EXPERT GUIDANCE — Advice on layout, color, lighting, scale, artwork, accessories, and the details that bring a room together.

PERSONALIZED SHOPPING — Explore furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork, and accessories with expert guidance. I'll help you compare options and select pieces that suit your space and budget.

THE DETAILS:

TIME COMMITMENT: Habitat Edit is designed as a half-day experience, typically around 4–5 hours, depending on your space and needs. The timing and scope will be discussed in advance.

SHOPPING & PURCHASES: Furniture, lighting, accessories, and other merchandise are purchased separately and are not included in the design fee.

SCOPE OF SERVICE: Habitat Edit focuses on in-person consultation, design guidance, product selection, and shopping support. Formal floor plans, 3D renderings, extensive sourcing lists, and detailed design plans are not included, but may be available through separate Savage Habitat services.
